Guide FAQ and Reviews

 Frequently Asked Questions

The Montessori Parents Guide

What is the format of the course?

This course is comprised of seven pre-recorded video modules plus two bonus modules. Each module is 10-20 minutes long and covers a different Montessori parenting topic. The videos are primarily voice-over slides. We do not have transcriptions of each slide, but we have workbooks for you to follow along and take notes as you watch and listen.

How long will I have to watch the video modules?

You will have 2 months from the start (12/1) to watch. You will have access to the workbook, observation sheets, and bonus guides forever.

How old should my children be to benefit from this course?

This course is designed for parents with children ages 1 to 4. If you have an infant, you could use this to prepare for the coming year. You also might find that many of our techniques and suggestions are effective with children older than four.

Is the course available in other languages?

Unfortunately, at this time it is only available in English. We hope to be able to translate it in the future!

The Montessori Guides

What age guide should I choose?

We intentionally picked challenging activities for each age to ensure they will be enjoyed for future months to come. You know your child best, so if new to Montessori, you may want to start your guides at an age younger than your child. Also remember that if your child isn’t interested in an activity right away, they will likely be interested in the coming weeks or months, so we encourage you to reintroduce at various points in the future. Rotation is key to a Montessori environment.

When will the guides be delivered?

Your guides will be delivered immediately after you purchase!

Can I order more than one single guide at once?

Yes, you can order multiple guides to arrive at once, which allows you to compare and pick activities from more guides at a time! It also gives you a bit of background if you’re new to Montessori. To do so, you can add multiple single guides for different months to your cart.

I do not live in the US. Can I still purchase a guide?

Yes, though the links to purchase some of the activities may not work, depending on your country. You will still receive detailed information about the activity and presentation, and can hopefully locate products from local online retailers!

Do you plan to make guides beyond 21 months?

Yes! As our girls get older, we hope to make guides to grow with them. Stay tuned in the near future for more guides!

My child hasn’t been born yet. Is it too soon to order this?

This is the perfect time to purchase a first guide or package for your baby. You can set up their Montessori environment before they are even here! You could also gift a package to a friend or family member who is about to have a baby!

Can I share the guide?

We ask that you only share the guide with your child’s caregivers. The guide is copyright protected and may not be shared with groups, schools, classes or teachers.

A link on the guide isn’t working, what should I do?

We try to keep links updated with current products, but with ever changing stock this can be a challenge! Please email us and we will update the link.

Is The Montessori Guide available in other languages?

The Montessori Guide is only offered in English.

What Parents Are Saying

This guide has been a great resource for me as I plan activities and toys for my child. It’s simple enough for a busy, frazzled mother to read over and implement, and it’s complex enough that it provides food for thought for how I approach toys and work with my child. I plan on buying more guides!” - Shannon from Michigan

Thank you for putting this together! I have seen a huge improvement in my 16-month-old daughter's behavior and ability to concentrate. Each activity is tailored for her exact developmental age and really helps her interact in a more meaningful way with the world around her. I can tell she feels safe and trusts us more now. In a way, I think our communication has improved too”. - Amada

I like the philosophy of Maria Montessori. To have an own child where I can use her “work” is wonderful. To have you guys as role models is absolutely amazing for a first time mama like me. These guides make my life easier. I love them”. - Tuğba from Germany

The Montessori Guide offers activity and materials suggestions in a real-life, approachable way. I purchased a 3 month guide set to start and will be adding on. My 9 month old loves all the additions we made to his space with the help of the guides. Hugely helpful advice, links, and recommendations overall!” - Melissa from Connecticut

I have twins and the monthly guides are so helpful. We can support them to do things on their own and our daily life is much more easier, when they gain their independence.” - Anna Tabea from Germany

While this doesn’t replace in-depth Montessori books, it’s an absolutely fantastic tool to make sure nothing is forgotten and an easy way to prepare for babies next milestones”. - Amorette

The Montessori Guide is a great tool to incorporate Montessori in every day life. I love that it is written by real moms and it is easy to follow. I see how following the recommendations let my baby develop and flourish in her own unique way. Thank you Theresa and Bridget for your amazing work.” - Anonymous
